T-4 cell means: T-4 cells: T-cells that have CD4 marks on their surface. They participate in the immune system by activating T and B cell responses and recognizing foreign antigens. There are two types of T-helper cell: ones that stimulate other T cells and trigger cellular inflammation responses. Others that induce B cells to make antibodies as part of the humoral immune system. The two types of responses are often incompatible and must be coordinated by substances known as cytokines. They can promote or dampen one while simultaneously inhibiting another.
