Shiloh means in the bible: 1 The holy city of the Holy Land located 9 1/4 miles North of Bethel, and 11 1/2 Miles South of Shechem in the tribe Ephraim Josh. 18:1; Judg. 18:31. The Tabernacle was present during most of the time of Judges. It continued to serve as the spiritual center for the nation 1 Samuel. From 1:3 to the time of the destruction of Ebenezer, the Ark was lost.
