Scroll means in the bible: Rolls of leather, or papyrus for writing. To make rolls, you would sew sheets together and create a long strip. Rolls could be as long as 100 feet. These rolls were typically 9-11 inches in height. The rolls were usually wound around sticks and unwound between sticks. Many of the Old Testament and New Testaments were likely written on rolls. Ezra 6; Isa mentions scroll rolls. 8:1; 34:4; Jer. 36; Ezek. 2:9; 3:1; Zech. 5:1-2; Rev. 6:14. 6:14
