Sarah or Sarai means in the bible: Sarah is the name of a “princess”. She was Abraham’s wife. The name Sarai, which could mean “contentions” or more likely another spelling of Sarah is used from Gen. 11/29-17/15. Before Abraham left Ur, she was married to Abraham.
