Mary means in the bible: 1 Mother of Jesus. The Virgin, cousin to Elisabeth Luke 1:136; was betrothed with Joseph Matt. 1:18; Luke 1:27; Annunciation 26-38. Elisabeth visits 40-45. Magnifies the Lord 46-55. Returns 56. Joseph warns not to take her away Matt. 1:18-25. Goes to Bethlehem along Joseph Luke 2:4-5. The Nativity 7, 16, visit of the shepherds 16-20. Purification 2:21–38. Matt’s Magi visit Matt. 2:11; Egypt 13-14, returns to Nazareth 19-22; Luke 2:39. At the Passover 41-50; the wedding at Cana John 22:30-5. Matt is another reference during the ministry of our Lord. 12:46, 13:54-55, Mark 3:31-32 and 6:3 respectively; Luke 8:19-19. John John 19;25-26. She was also entrusted by John John to be with her after the Ascension Acts 1:4. Her later years are not known. Latter-day revelation affirms the Biblical account.
