Laodicea means in the bible: A small town located in Asia’s Roman Province, the Lycus Valley, close to Hierapolis and Colossae. Col. 4:6 contains a reference of a letter that Paul wrote to Laodicea Church. Col. 2:3, 4:13, 15, and Rev. 3 are other references to Laodicea. 1:11; 3:14. The last verse shows us that there was a special danger in the church’s lukewarmness.
