Hallermann-Streiff syndrome means: Hallermann-Streiff Syndrome: A rare congenital disorder that causes abnormalities in the skull and bones, characteristic facial features, degenerative skin conditions and eye problems. Some people with intellectual disabilities may be affected. HSS, or Hallermann Streiff Francois Syndrome has been used to describe the condition. A wide, narrow head, prominent forehead, and/or side of skull bossing can all be signs that the abnormal facial features are present. Hallermann-Streiff syndrome’s genetic causes are unknown. Most cases happen randomly and for unknown reasons.
