Haggai means in the bible: Soon after Ezra’s return, a prophet was found in Jerusalem. The prophecy was given around 520 B.C. Two chapters in the book Haggai include an appeal to people for greater public worship and rebuilding His temple. The desired result was achieved by his preaching: 1-14-15 Hag. Hag. He warns them, however, that the curse of their worldly spirits had brought about a curse upon all of their work and growth. The future is bright for him, he believes that despite the present depression, the nation can achieve greater things.
