Goshen means in the bible: 1 This is the part of Egypt where the Israelites lived. This area contained the pasture land Gen. 46.33-34, and was located somewhere between Palestine (the capital) and Egypt 46.28-29. It is probably the eastern portion of the Delta of the Nile.
