What else does Ear wax mean?

Ear wax is a natural, wax-like substance that’s secreted from the skin at the outside of the ear canal. It is a wax that repels water and holds material like dust and sand. A small amount of wax can accumulate and fall out of the canal. Normal amounts of ear wax are helpful and serve to protect the skin in the ear canal from water damage. In the absence of ear wax, dry and itchy ears can result.
