Bar-jesus means in the bible: Elymas (also known as Son of Jesus), was a Jew who had influenced Sergius Paulus in Cyprus Acts 13,6-12. His reputation includes being a magician or sorcerer and false prophet. Paul destroyed his power by calling upon him evidence of divine anger Acts 13,11.
