Antioch means in the bible: 1 A city located on the Orontes in Syria was founded by Seleucus Nicator 300 B.C. Seleucus Nicator, the third Roman Empire city. It was the main point of East-West interaction and it is a highly disreputable place. It was the center for gentile Christianity during Paul’s lifetime Acts 6;11:19-30; 13;1; 14:26, 15:22–35; 18:22 and Gal. 2:11.
