Absolute CD4 count means: Absolute CD4 count is the number of T-lymphocytes that are able to ‘helper’ a person’ in one cubic millimeter. Because HIV infection is progressive, the absolute CD4 count can be used frequently to assess the level of immune suppression. Also called T4 count.
